When you proceed with your order, we take that as you have read and agree to our terms of service listed below. The following terminology applies: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to the person who's account the hosting is registered to. "Hosting Me", "Us", "Our", "Ourselves" and "We" refer to Hosting Me as the company.
All hosting services provided by Hosting Me may only be used for lawful purposes. Sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to our servers, or any other server on the Internet and/or links to such materials are prohibited and will result in your account being suspended immediately and if the offending content is not removed your account will be terminated - no refunds or credits will apply.
We reserve the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in our terms of service at any time and in our sole discretion. Any changes or modification will be effective immediately upon posting of the revisions to our site, and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your continued use of site and services following the posting of changes or modifications will confirm your acceptance of such changes or modifications.
All UK and non-UK domains are registered immediately therefore once payment has been received we cannot issue a refund. Domains are provisioned through our registrar partners eNom or ResellerClub. As such we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular domain, however any charges incurred in the registration of a domain which is subsequently found to be unavailable will be refunded in full.
Please note: registrars may reject a registration if invalid information is provided at the time of order. We do not take responsibility for checking that the information you provided is correct. You must check that the domain registration has been completed and the information provided is correct, to do this check the ‘Domain Registration Confirmation’ email. If you have not received such email, please contact us so we can investigate into what has happened.
We will send out reminder emails before your domain expires. These emails will go to the email address on the account. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details are kept up-to-date. We take no responsibility for any domain that fails to renew due to your contact details being incorrect. If you do not wish to renew your domain, you can disable ‘Auto-Renew’ in your ‘Client Area’ or contact us within 14 days of renewal and we’ll arrange to have it canceled. Due to the costs involved in renewing a domain, we are unable to offer refunds for domains which auto-renew. Please update your auto-renew preferences 14 days before expiry date.
If you do not renew your domain before its expiry date it will have all services we provide suspended and you will have up to 30 days (protected period) after to renew the domain name at the original renewal fee. After 30 days your domain will be cancelled and deleted from the register and made available for resale through a third party registrar. We can not guarantee the renewal of the domain name thereafter.
We offer a free .co.uk domain name with every cloud web hosting plan (except VPS Servers). The domain is free for as long as you have a cloud web hosting plan with us. If you choose a premium domain like .com, this is not included in the price and you will be charged accordingly.
Please note: If you cancel your cloud web hosting plan within the first 6 months, we may at our discretion charge you for any fees we incurred at the time of registration.
Some of our plans offer an 'unlimited' service, meaning we do not actively limit your account on disk space or bandwidth. This is subject to fair use and any customer using a high amount of bandwidth or disk space may be advised to upgrade to a bespoke solution and billed accordingly. In other cases, we may migrate your account to a different server better suited for your needs.
Any attempt to cause harm to one of Hosting Me’s servers or one of our customers servers is strictly prohibited. As one of our customer you are responsible for any sub-accounts you may have. Should we be alerted to an attempt to abuse our servers, your account will be immediately suspended while we investigate and if necessary terminated.
At our discretion, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate one or all of your services with us.
You’ll receive an invoice from us on a monthly/yearly basis depending on your plan type. Payment will be taken automatically if you’ve setup recurring payments with one of our payment partners otherwise you’ll need to ensure you arrange payment before the due date. If we attempt to take payment and something goes wrong, your account may be suspended and/or terminated.
By signing up to one of our hosting plans or services you confirm that we can take payments as a one-off or on a recurring basis.
It is your responsibility to ensure you keep your personal information up to date. We will not be responsible for any loss of business if your account is suspended and/or terminated due to incorrect or expired payment methods.
We do not personally store or record your credit/debit card details and payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal.
It is a violation of our terms of service to misuse or fraudulently use credit cards, debit cards, web payment accounts or any other payment method. Hosting Me may report any misuse of fraudulent use to law enforcement, credit reporting services, financial institutions and/or credit card companies.

VPS Hosting: VPS services are billed monthly, if you decide to cancel your service mid-way through, we are not obliged to refund any remaining days. Refunds are not issued to any account found to be in violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
Domain Names: We are unable to cancel or refund any domain names in which you have purchased. If you've purchased one of our hosting packages where we provide a free domain name and you decide to cancel, we will deduct the cost of registering the domain name from the refund amount.
We will not be held responsible for any damages or loss of business which may arise from our servers going offline or being unavailable. We also take no responsibility for any damages or loss of business if your account is suspended or terminated.
Although we take regular backups of your hosting account including your files, databases, emails and more we still highly recommend that you regularly take a backup of your data. We will not be held responsible for any loss of data caused by hardware malfunction, staff/user error, account suspension/termination or other causes which could lead to data loss.
Account activation happens automatically after you successfully accept these terms of service and payment has been received.
We'll send you via email an invoice 7 days before your hosting package, domain name or other service is due for renewal. If you fail to pay that invoice on time we'll automatically suspend your account 5 days after the due date. If payment is not received within 7 days of due date your hosting accounts and mailboxes will be deleted and as such, your website and any associated data will no longer be available.

From time to time we’ll need to perform planned maintenance or upgrades to our platform which may result in some downtime. In the event of such maintenance, we’ll notify you before hand so you can make any necessary arrangements. Where possible we’ll perform all maintenance overnight (GMT/BST) to minimise disruption.
We strictly prohibit the sending of bulk information over the internet and maintaining an open SMTP relay as it can overload our network causing disruption to our customers. We will investigate any complaint which is sent to us and if required suspend accounts until such time that account is no longer sending spam.
We do not allow our platform to be used for Audio/Video streaming. Any account found to be doing so will be suspended or terminated without any prior notice.
You must not use our hosting platform for storing large amounts backup or file storage. Any account found to be abusing this will be suspended and given the chance to remove these files, if these files are not removed the account will be terminated.
We do not allow our platform to be used to offer out free hosting. Accounts found to be offering free hosting to sub-accounts will be suspended and/or terminated along with any sub-accounts you may have.
Using our platform to store, display, transit or advertise adult contact in any form is strictly prohibited. Any accounts found to be doing so will be terminated without warning and the respected law enforcement agencies will be alerted.
Distributing information regarding the creation of and sending Internet viruses, worms, Trojan horses, pinging, flooding, mail bombing or denial of service (DDOS) attacks. Also, activities that disrupt the use of or interfere with the ability of others to effectively use the network or any connected network, system, service or equipment. Destructive activities include inviting, either directly or indirectly, an attack (such as a DDOS) against our platform. Such invitations include inviting third parties to attempt to compromise the security of our platform or knowingly participating in an external attack (such as a DDOS) which results in retaliatory action from a third-party.
Advertising, transmitting or otherwise making available any software, program, product or service that is designed to violate this AUP, which includes the facilitation of the means to spam, initiation of pinging, flooding, mail bombing, denial of service attacks and piracy of software.
Engaging in activities that are determined to be illegal, including, but not limited to, advertising, transmitting or otherwise making available ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, fraudulently charging credit cards, publishing or threatening to publish private data and pirating software.
Engaging in activities, whether lawful or unlawful, that we determine to be harmful to our subscribers, operations, reputation, goodwill or customer relations.
